Diet-Free Living for Diabetes

A group class for women with type 2 diabetes.

A diagnosis of diabetes can feel scary. But life with diabetes doesn't have to be.

There is a myriad of misinformation out there on what the "best diet" for diabetes is. However, the reality is there is no "best diet" because food is rarely black or white.  Nutrition and eating is full of gray.  Because we are humans, not cars, and food is more than gasoline.

If you have type 2 diabetes, you may have been told for years to just "lose weight."  Chances are you've been on and off plenty of diets in the past, have accumulated lots of food rules and have a complicated relationship with food.

In this group class we will take a more holistic approach to nutrition.  And the best part?

You won't have to be vegetarian or go "keto" to manage your diabetes!

This group is for women with type 2 diabetes who want to work on healing their relationship with food while caring about their health and managing their diabetes.

Class size is LIMITED to 5.

WHEN: Class will meet weekly for 6 weeks beginning Wednesday May 29.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • New clients will need to schedule an-office assessment with me to be sure you are a good fit for this class.  I take a weight-neutral, non-diet approach and if this is new to you, we can use some of our assessment time to discuss this.  Call for an appointment: 509-295-2923 or email: adina@adinapearson.com
